The Butterfly Ball - Celebrating 20 Years 2006 - 2026

200 Children. 200 Gifts. One Community.


The Butterfly Connection is proud to be the official Distribution Partner for a new community Christmas initiative aiming to give at least 200 local children experiencing hardship something special to open this Christmas.


Supported by the Alice Springs Show, with Balé Indoor Outdoor joining as the first gift collection partner, the initiative brings our community together to share a little Christmas joy.


Local businesses and organisations are invited to become gift drop-off partners, while everyone can help by spreading the word. More collection locations across Alice Springs will be announced soon.

Volunteer Opportunities


We need volunteers for the following fundraising events and activities:


  • The Butterfly Connection Ball - assistance required in the lead up and on the night of the event
  • Alice Springs Christmas Run
  • Gift Wrapping at Alice Plaza
